The Caching Proxy is an HTTP-based, lightweight device resident software supplied by Clickmarks as an offline solution for handheld devices. Caching Proxy works in conjunction with the Offline Server.

The Caching Proxy has the following key features:

• Silently caches server pages when connected.
• Shows the cached version of a page if a network connection is not available at the time the user requests to view that page.
• Saves the form data when the user submits a form and the network is not available. The same form can be filled out and submitted multiple times when the device is disconnected.
