The Clickmarks i-Server is a powerful Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE)-based platform that provides both design-time and run-time support for applications created with the Clickmarks i-Studio. It extends the standard functionality of J2EE based application servers to include persistent session management, data and application integration, and multi-channel delivery.

Workflows - The i-Server orchestrates the workflows created within the i-Studio to deliver robust secure enterprise applications.

Portlet Generation – The i-Server has been closely integrated with popular portal servers. Applications running on the i-Server can be accessed as portlets from any portal server like Plumtree, Sun and IBM.

In addition to supporting applications that are developed in the Clickmarks i-Studio, the Clickmarks i-Server can be used as a platform to develop and deploy enterprise applications by interacting directly with the APIs.
